DESCRIPTION:Hendersonville Area Chapter of Les Gemmes\, Inc. will host our inaugural Gemme Sisters Book Club (GSBC) on National African American Read-In Day 2025 \nThe book club’s goal is to foster a supportive community where black women can explore and discuss literature focused on empowerment\, leadership\, and personal growth. The Gemme Sisters Book Club should: \n\nServe as a safe space for black women of all ages and backgrounds for open and insightful discussions about literature and the black experience. \nCultivate a love of reading and support literacy among black women. \nFacilitate the exploration of diverse perspectives and experiences through books by black authors.\nBuild a supportive community for black women to network\, connect\, share stories\, and inspire one another in their personal and professional lives.
