African American Read-In (Teen)

February 19, 2022 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library will be hosting authors throughout the month of February to celebrate Black authors and their books! This event at our Groesbeck Branch will feature Debbie Rigaud the author of Simone Breaks All the Rules. Debbie will read excerpts from her book and discuss her experiences as an author. Library staff will also lead a comic book drawing demonstration and each teen will be provided with a sketchbook and coloring pencils. Blue Marble Books will be onsite to sell copies of Debbie’s books and other Black authored books.
