Capital High School African-American Read-In 2021

March 12, 2021 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

All of my senior level dual credit English e-learners in both of my Communications 100 classes participated in the event during the first week of February.  They read live (in conference time) a short introduction about a black author before sharing  poetry, brief text excerpts, and children’s books.  In previous years, my students went to an inner-city elementary school to read in person.  Since this is not possible this year, we read aloud to each other. My co-teacher (who is delivering instruction face-to-face) was also involved.
