“It’s important for all of us to see ourselves in books” Dr. Jerrie Cobb Scott, founder of the African American Read-In.
- Celebrating Black History, volunteers will virtually read a text by an African American author or about notable African American figures and events to students.
- The text and discussion serve as a way to recognize and amplify these notable people and events.
