Century Oaks African American Read-In

“It’s important for all of us to see ourselves in books” Dr. Jerrie Cobb Scott, founder of the African American Read-In.

  • Celebrating Black History, volunteers will virtually read a text by an African American author or about notable African American figures and events to students.
  • The text and discussion serve as a way to recognize and amplify these notable people and events.
