Meridian Freedom Project’s African American Read-In

Everyone is welcome at the Meridian Freedom Project’s 3rd  African American Read-In on Saturday, February 26 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This is a collaborative time of poignant and uplifting performances by Freedom Fellows of the Meridian Freedom Project and community members. The event will be at the MFP L.E.A.D. Center. This event is free and open to the public.

 

Community members are invited to celebrate Black History Month by choosing a passage from their favorite book, poem, song, or speech by an African-American to share.
