Open to All: “Abolitionist Study Group: Literacies Toward Freedom”

“Abolitionist Study Group: Literacies Toward Freedom” is a 7-week virtual seminar devoted to utilizing various forms of literacy to examine and practice abolition. The seminar will meet Tuesday evenings from 6-8 p.m. CST beginning February 8 and ending March 29, 2022. The seminar will be co-facilitated by Stephanie D. Keene and Dustin Gibson. The seminar is part of the University of Arkansas Brown Chair in English Literacy Initiative’s programming for the 2022 National African-American Read-In.
