Teaching English in the Two-Year College

TETYC is for instructors of English in two-year colleges as well as for teachers of first- and second-year composition in four-year institutions.

Search for Next Editor of Teaching English in the Two-Year College

 

NCTE is seeking the next editor of Teaching English in the Two-Year College. The term of current editor Holly Hassel will end in December 2020. Interested persons should apply no later than October 18, 2019.

 

Application materials should include (1) a letter detailing the applicant’s vision for the journal; (2) the applicant’s CV; (3) one sample of published writing (article or chapter); and (4) a letter specifying financial support from appropriate administrators at the applicant’s institution. Applicants are urged to explore with their administrators the feasibility of assuming the responsibilities of a journal editor. Finalists will be interviewed at the NCTE Annual Convention in Baltimore, MD, in November 2019. The applicant appointed by the NCTE Executive Committee will effect a transition, preparing for their first issue in March 2021. The appointment is for five years.
