In today’s society, teens are facing a multitude of challenges and life decisions that will have huge impacts on their futures. They are dealing with issues of sexual identity, sexual behavior, social interaction, peer pressure, and self-esteem. Such issues are often traumatic and terrifying to adolescents, who are also dealing with additional family and school challenges. As they struggle to answer difficult questions and understand themselves and the world, they search for sources of advice or relevancy.
