Flipe is a twelve-year-old boy who is from El Salvador. He lives with his mother Paloma, father Jacinto, and sister Romy. They all live in El Salvador in the middle of the ongoing civil war. Jacinto has become involved with the Human Rights Office and other questionable activities that the government does not endorse.
