What is the one thing that all adolescents search for? The one thing they are most concerned with? Identity. As children, these teenagers lived the life their parents had outlined for them without thought or question, but as kids grow into adolescence their minds and maturity level demand more. As they get closer to moving away from home and to interacting with the world on their own, adolescents want an understanding of themselves, an identity that they can relate to and call their own. That identity will allow them to negotiate with society and eventually affix themselves in the part of society that they choose to enter.
