Eric “Moby” Calhoun is a high school senior who has been fat most of his life. He’s not as fat as he used to be because now he’s a hardworking member of the swim team, and he’d be even thinner if it weren’t for his friendship with Sarah Byrnes. Sarah Byrnes was horribly disfigured at the age of three when her abusive father held her against a wood stove.
