Stupid Fast

Stupid Fast by Geoff Herbach (2012) is a captivating and thought-provoking novel about one boy’s struggle to adapt to his growth both mentally and physically especially, when it reopens old family wounds to his single struggling mother. The breakdown of Felton’s family unit all begins when he takes the physical fitness test in his P.E. class. Felton realizes that in less than a year he has grown several inches, gained muscle, and become what he describes as “stupid fast”.
