Told through a multi-narrative format, The Cheats thoroughly describes six characters struggles that result from a cheating scam. When Sarah, the most popular girl in school, is approached by Jake, the class dork, with the answers to the geography midterm, she finds it impossible to resist. After receiving the test, she willingly passes the information along to best friend Katie and peers, Dan and Rob. The following morning, Sarah, Dan and Rob use the supposedly right answers. Katie, who realizes the cheat sheet is wrong, decides to back out.
