The Two Towers by J. R. R. Tolkien (1954) is the second book of The lord of the Rings trilogy. We see the fate of the Companions of the Ring, a group composed of nine members, who are sent to destroy the Ring. The nine Companions are composed of four Hobbits (Frodo, Sam, Merry, and Pippin), a wizard (Gandalf the Grey, who is known by many other names), a Dwarf (Gimli), an Elf (Legolas), and two Men (Aragorn and Boromir.) Gandalf has already fallen during a battle with a dark spirit.
