At some point or another in or lives we have all experienced bullying.
Whether we bully someone or get bullied by another, we have all experienced the
traumatizing effects of bullying. In Katherine Hanngian’s novel True (..Sort of)(2011)
Delly Pattison starts out as the bully, but with a little help from a new friend, she
sees how bullying can have a very negative affect on someone’s life. The two girls
have very little in common with Delly being loud and aggressive and Ferris Boyd
being mute and unable to be touched. The friendship seems to be impossible at first
but little by little girls begin to compromise and grow to love the other out of each of
their situations.
