In his novel Tunes for Bears to Dance To, Robert Cormier (1992) tells the story of eleven year-old Henry Cassavant, a boy whose family is suffering much emotional turmoil after the sudden and brutal death of Henry’s older brother, Eddie. Henry’s father sinks into a deep depression, and his mother tries her best to keep the family together.
