Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons’ groundbreaking graphic novel Watchmen (1986) is
commonly regarded as the book that changed the way that graphic novels are viewed. As an
alternate 1985 is quickly spinning out of control towards nuclear war with the Russians, a small
band of masked heroes must come together to solve the murder of one of their own. In this
twelve issue graphic novel two generations of superheroes are at risk, as someone close to them
seems to be trying to pick them off one by one. As the doomsday clock is getting closer to
midnight Rorschach, Nite Owl, Silk Spectre, Ozymandias and Dr Manhattan must find the
person that murdered the Comedian before it is too late to save everyone.
