NCTE Brand Guidelines
NCTE Lockup Logo
Sometimes our Primary Logo needs to be more direct at branding NCTE as the National Council of Teachers of English.
The NCTE Lockup Logo can be used for communications and events. Elements of the lockup are fixed and must not be reproportioned, redrawn, or modified.
The NCTE Lockup Logo can be used when adding the complete brand name and will be helpful in connecting the NCTE brand to the communications need. This logo works well at larger sizes and should not be used in small sizes.
The Lockup Logo must appear in all black when there is only the option of black on a white background. When there is a color option on a white background “NCTE” and “Teachers of English” must appear in the same specified color from the Bold color palette. In addition, the text “National Council of Teachers of English” and the page element must always be in black. In unique situations, “Teachers of English” can appear in white. Readability should be considered over design when using the white NCTE Lockup Logo.
When the Lockup Logo is placed on a color background other than black, “NCTE” and “Teachers of English” must always appear in white. In addition, the text “National Council of” and the page element must always be in black. When the logo is placed on a black background, the logo must always appear in all white.
