Dinner & A Movie Pt 3: Sing a Song for Freedom–Harriet

March 10, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Part 3 of a 3 part series of films designed to spark conversations across generations. A screening of a short section of Harriet (film based on the life of abolitionist Harriet Tubman) whose work as a freedom fighter ended on March 10, 1913. We will discuss freedom, songs and Black Joy on the way to liberation. Paired texts will be Sing a song by Kelly S. Lyons (2019) and Bettina Love’s (2019) We want to do more than survive.
