Duquesne University’s 6th Annual African American Read-In, 2024

In honor of Black History Month, Duquesne University’s Michael P. Weber Learning Skills Center is hosting the 6th annual National Council of Teachers of English’s (NCTE’s) African American Read-In event to showcase and celebrate the literary works of African American authors, composers, poets, and other artists.  The National African American Read-In was established in 1990 by the Black Caucus of the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) to make literacy a significant part of Black History Month.

The in-person event takes on Monday, February 26th, Tuesday, February 27th, and Wednesday, February 28th, 2024. The program runs from 4:00 PM to 5:50 PM.
