Monday, February 13, from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. EST, the Ybor City Campus of Hillsborough Community College will host its sixth-annual AFRICAN AMERICAN READ-IN. The event will take place in the Ybor Room (2001 E. 14th St., Tampa, FL 33605) and in Teams. Participants will read, watch, and discuss Frederick Douglass’ 1865 speech “What the Black Man Wants” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u3zIRruGLuo). Attendees can get a certificate of participation upon request.
