This Black History Month 2023, LET’S CELEBRATE POETRY! Adults and kid readers of all ages can participate in the Our Stories Matter African American Read-In! Choose from a selection of poems provided by the host organization, Black Children’s Books and Authors (BCBA), or bring one from your favorite Black poet. This is a family event, EVERYONE IS WELCOME! BCBA’s mission is to promote awareness of children’s and young adult literature by Black authors.
