These events provide opportunities for English language arts teachers to learn new strategies and techniques, network with colleagues, and stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in the field.

Stephen Decatur High School’s One School, One Community Black History Month African American Read-In

For Black History Month, SDHS wishes to highlight Black Alumni, present or past staff members, or students who are willing to read a self-authored piece, another African American authored text, or tell a story about their own Black experience(s). We would like readers and story tellers to fill our students’ day allowing for more students to experience the event. We are asking for readers and presenters on February 10 and/or February 15.
