University of Delaware’s 7th Annual African American Read-In

Celebrate the writing of Black American authors with the University of Delaware community. The theme for our 7th annual African American Read-In is “The Stories We Tell,” with an emphasis on African American short fiction and oral storytelling.
This is a community-wide virtual event. You are invited to participate however you feel most comfortable: by listening to other readers and storytellers, by reading poetry or prose by Black American writers, or by sharing your own work.
Our featured presenter this year is UD alumna Kim Graham, who will share her storytelling gifts during the gathering.
This virtual event is free and open to the public. It is co-sponsored by the Department of English and the Center for Black Culture.
