Black History Poetry Celebration with Fauquier High School

A VIRTUAL POETRY JAM HONORING AFRICAN AMERICAN POETS

Fauquier High School students, staff, and community members celebrate Black History Month by sharing their favorite poem written by a Black American poet. Readings are posted on FlipGrid for all to view, comment, and enjoy. We were fortunate enough to have Nikki Giovanni contribute a reading of her own poem “A Bench for Toni Morrison”!
