Dorm Information
Dorm rooms will be available at Georgia State University at a rate of $70 per night including linens (note: dorm rooms do not include toiletries, hangers, extra linens, or other amenities). You can reserve a dorm room for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and/or Saturday nights via the 2023 ELATE Summer Conference registration form. Registrants requiring dorm accommodations must register by 11:59 p.m. ET on Tuesday, June 6, 2023. Dorm registration will not be refundable after June 6, 2023.
Dorm Room Layout
Dorms will be located in the University Commons, 141 Piedmont Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30303. View the campus map for the dorm location. There are 4 bedrooms per suite and two bathrooms per suite. Two attendees will be assigned on each side of the suite and will share a bathroom. Special requests are not accepted for room assignments. See this room diagram for a rough layout of the space.

Dorm Room Amenities
Each dorm room includes the following linens:
- 1 Flat sheet
- 1 Fitted sheet
- 1 Pillow
- 1 Pillow case
- 1 Pillow protector
- 1 Blanket
- 2 Wash cloths
- 2 Hand towels
- 2 Bath towels (Towels can be refreshed every three days at the dorm’s front desk.)
- 1 Bath mat
- Toilet paper
Dorm rooms do not include toiletries, hangers, or any other amenities than what is noted above. Each room is private and can be locked, with a wardrobe, closet, and desk provided in each bedroom.
Security and Policies
GSU is located in downtown Atlanta on a very urban/open campus and, therefore, provides a high level of security. You are required to check in any additional guests you may have while on campus for security purposes. Additional policies will be posted as they become available.
Parking
University Commons has a parking deck that is available for overnight parking ONLY for those staying in the dorms. For those staying at the dorms, you can pay through this website for $5 per day or $25 for a weekly pass. Make sure you have pre-paid before you arrive and note “ELATE” in the group name field when paying your fee.
