RSVP for the EPP (Education Preparation Provider) Information Session
The National Council of Teachers of English is one of thirteen subject specific organizations with membership in the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), the professional accrediting agency for teacher preparation. Institutions seeking CAEP accreditation must meet carefully developed specific conditions. One of those conditions is program approval submitted by the EPP.
An EPP is the entity responsible for the preparation of P-12 educators at initial and advanced levels. EPPs may include non-profit organizations, public or private institutions of higher education, a school district, a corporation, or a governmental agency.
NCTE will conduct an information session on Tuesday, August 1 at 12:00 p.m. ET. Any and all who are interested in learning about the EPP submission process are encouraged to RSVP. All registrants will receive the session recording via email following the event. Please RSVP by 10:30 a.m. ET on August 1.
