See below Arkansas’ initiative to analyze the technology infrastructure of schools in the state as a move toward increasing access to Broadband as schools move toward enhanced digital learning (which impacts literacy curriculum and preparation for the 2014-15 PARCC ELA Assessments where students from grades 3-12 will have to use computers and online access to take the PARCC assessment).

This study’s goals and strategies may be compared to initiatives in other states to increase capacity and access to Internet access for the online national assessments coming to schools.
