Word coming late Tuesday evening from Montgomery, Alabama is that the controversial PREP Act, extending time for tenure and tying teacher evaluations to student test scores is “shelved.” Senator Del Marsh cites not enough support for the bill, after months of debate and 7 revisions.

Teachers across the state invited legislators into their classrooms to see the sincere work being accomplished with students, in response to Senator Marsh’s accusations that educators are keeping Alabama’s economy from growing.
