The Omaha World-Herald reported that Nebraska girls outscored boys on last year’s ACT exam. The ACT is administered to all Nebraska public school students during their junior year in high school. Results showed girls outscored boys overall, surpassing them in reading and Math, and scoring about the same in science. Overall, girls scored a composite average score of 19.6 compared to the boys’ composite score of 19.1. More information on the test results can be read here.
