Maryland officials have announced plans replace the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) with another test. Maryland governor, Larry Hogan announced, “They’re developing a new Maryland-centered plan right now.”
Few details have been announced but it is said that the requirement that the test be administered electronically and the time involved to administer the tests are too onerous and those concerns will be addressed. It is federally mandated that the state must have a standardized test.
