The state of Arkansas is currently reviewing the adoption of the Common Core State Standards by earlier legislative order. A commission was formed in spring 2015 for this purpose and has been hosting panel interviews and “listening” sessions across the state. On Monday, June 8, the governor announced the state was not going tor renew its contract with PARCC and would instead be entering a contract with ACT Aspire.
