I forgot to mention in my previous post on developmental education policies and initiatives that more than half of the community colleges in WA state are involved with the Achieving the Dream Initiative, which promotes student success (especially focused on low income students and students of color), some funded through the national collaboration of foundations and some funded through College Spark Washington. One of the focal areas of this initiative is developmental education.
