Washingtonians still have a couple of days to review and comment on the state’s revised Every Student Succeeds Act Consolidated Plan. Interested individuals may visit the Office of Superintendent of Public instruction (OSPI) website at http://www.k12.wa.us/esea/essa/default.aspx to read the plan, which is available in several different languages. They can also read about how the plan will affect various school districts. The public has until Sept. 5 to make comments on the plan. OSPI intends to consider the feedback it receives as its staff members revise the proposed plan prior to submission to the U.S. Department of Education.
