Wyoming 11th graders improved in every subject tested earlier this year on the ACT statewide student assessment.
The composite average improved from 19.8 in 2015 to 20.0 this year.
Ninth and 10th grade students exceeded the benchmark in English, indicating a high probability of success in first year college courses.
The results were released August 15 by the state Education Department.
Every Wyoming 11th grader is administered the ACT test for free at their respective high schools. Ninth and 10th grade students take the ACT Aspire test. This spring marked the first year that the ACT Aspire was administered.
