ABOUT THE AUTHOR & MODERATOR

 

LYNDA MULLALY HUNT is the author of the New York Times bestseller Fish in a Tree, as well as One for the Murphys, which is on thirty-one state award lists. She is a former teacher and holds writers retreats for the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. She lives in Connecticut with her husband, two children, impetuous beagle, and beagle-loathing cat.

 

 

 

 

 

 

ANN MARIE CORGILL is a first-grade teacher at Shades Mountain Elementary in Birmingham, Alabama, serves as NCTE’s Elementary Representative-at-Large, and is the author of Of Primary Importance: What’s Essential in Teaching Young Writers. Ann Marie was a national Teacher of the Year finalist and Alabama Teacher of the Year in 2015, is NBCT-certified, and received the NCTE Donald H. Graves Award for Excellence in the Teaching of Writing in 2007.
