The Christmas Rat takes place in the “city”, mainly in a common city dwelling-a-five-story apartment building called the Eden apartments, during Christmas break. The story focuses upon the relationship that develops and changes between an eleven-year-old boy named Eric Andrick and a strange exterminator named Anjela Gabrail.
