In her novel Fell (1987), M.E. Kerr tells the story of John Fell’s adventures during his junior year of high school, which due to unusual circumstances, ends up anything but normal. Through John’s eyes, the reader meets many people, including John’s family, a ring of spies, and girlfriends. Kerr writes a very interesting, compelling novel as the first in a series, and portrays the unusual life of a teenager in a bare, honest way.
