Lucky Trimble is a ten and a half year old girl who lives in Hard Pan, Arizona. Carrying her survival kit backpack with her everywhere she goes and eaves dropping on the various twelve step meetings held at the Found Objects Museum where she works are two of her favorite activities. That is until she finds that her guardian Brigitte, her absent father’s first wife, seems to be planning to return to France. She decides that her best plan to keep Brigitte is running away, but will it work?
