A Celebration of Black Literature

February 22, 2023 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

The event celebrates Black literature with guest speaker Dionne Irving Bremyer. Dr. Bremyer is an award-winning author whose latest book, The Islands, is on the longlist for the PEN/Faulkner Award in Fiction. Her reading and talk will be followed by a Q&A and will end with an open mic for faculty, students, staff, and guests to share their favorite pieces of Black literature.
