When Maya Angelou was a professor at Wake Forest University, she used Reynolda House Museum of American Art as a venue to share her words with the public. As part of the African American Read-In, join Reynolda for a drop-in session to share your favorite poem or excerpt from a novel by an African-American writer. Then visit Reynolda’s Still I Rise: The Black Experience at Reynolda exhibition to learn more about Maya Angelou’s presence at Reynolda.
