African-American Read-In @ CWRU

Free

Case Western Reserve University’s students, staff, and faculty are invited to bring a piece of writing by an African American writer to share at this reading. Readings may include a poem, short story, song lyrics, essay, monologue, spoken word poem, scene from a play, or other piece of writing, ideally shorter than five minutes to allow many readers to participate. This event is co-sponsored by the African American Society, the Writing Program, Writers House, and the Department of English. Hosted by the Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities. Refreshments will be served.
