African American Read-In – Dallas

The Dock Bookshop in collaboration with the African American Museum in Dallas under the leadership of Dr. Robinson will host a local African American Read-In: A Community Celebration on Saturday, Feb 25th 11-3pm in Dallas, TX.  The African American Read-In was created by the National Council Teachers of English this celebration makes literacy a significant part of Black History Month.  The African American Read-In being held at the museum features public readings, poetry, book discussions, book club games, vendors, etc. The Read-In is a great opportunity to lift up reading in local communities.  This event is free and open to the entire family.
