Black History Month Panel Discussion & Community Read-In

February 28, 2023 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

Black history month normally highlights more nationally known individuals, but this year we are celebrating our local Black community members through an organized panel discussion centered around Asheville’s local Black community leaders and organizations, followed by a community read-in. The Read-In is open to all who would like to share and will feature the work of Black authors. We hope the celebration inspires our community to foster a culture that celebrates local Black leaders and Black authors to honor Black culture in Asheville. Please join us for this joyous occasion!
