Her Stories: Read in

April 27, 2024 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

“Her Stories” by Virginia Hamilton is a series of folktales, fairy tales, and true tales told from the perspectives of African American women. It aims to showcase the diverse voices and stories of women from various backgrounds, highlighting their struggles, triumphs, and contributions to society. This event will provide a platform for the storytelling, empowerment, and dialogue of African American women.
I collaborated with three of my closest friends to help me set up this reading. There was a total of 20 people who listened to my reading.
