SHHS Black History Month Celebration

February 16, 2021 - February 25, 2021

Event Description: Every year, the SHHS Black History Month Committee celebrates Black History Month with various performances, guest speakers, and participation in the African American Read-In event. The theme of this year’s program is “The Struggle Continues: Social Justice, Voting Rights, Equality.” Due to COVID-19, this year’s events will be held virtually via social media during the month of February. Here is a list of tentative dates by which these various segments of the program will be posted:

Feb. 16: Part 1: Spoken Word

Feb. 18: Part 2: Dance

Feb. 23: Part 3: Education 

Feb. 25: Part 4: Music
