2026 NCTE Fund Teachers for the Dream Affiliate Award Application Form

Applications are due by July 15, 2026 (for the 2026 awards). Any supporting documentation should be uploaded as PDF documents in the application form. NOTE: When completing your application, please provide full and sufficient information as requested in the form. A new review committee is appointed each year and will not have the details of any prior applications your affiliate may have made.

  • Program Description and Budget

    (A) General description of proposed major activities.
    (B) Timetable: Provide expected timetable of key program accomplishments. Include the May 1 deadline for sharing with NCTE the results and stories of individuals benefiting from your program.
    (C) Expected Outcomes: Explain how your proposed program contributes to the recruitment of English language arts teachers of color. How will you measure your success initially, and over a longer period of time?
    (D) Budget: Show projected costs of major program activities. Please note: NCTE encourages affiliates to provide matching funds, partner with other organizations and affiliates to provide in-kind support, and/or leverage other sources of funding for Fund Teachers for the Dream Affiliate Award proposals and projects. Show cash value of contributions by others. The maximum award for Fund for the Dream proposals is $750.
