NCTE’s Secondary Section invites members to join Brett Vogelsinger, author of Artful AI in Writing Instruction, and Joel Garza, Secondary Section Steering Committee member, for a conversation about how our profession is using and thinking about AI.
If you are a high school teacher who is grappling with what to do with AI on a practical and intellectual level, this event is for you! The session will provide teachers with new principles, perspectives, and things to try out if they have yet to use AI in the secondary ELA classroom.
Members will
- Develop meaningful principles for navigating the AI revolution in education, and
- Walk away with practical uses for AI in the classroom.
Please contact profdev@ncte.org with questions. Registration will close 90 minutes prior to the event’s start time.
