Thank you for participating in NCTE’s inaugural virtual 2022 African American Read-In, featuring Because Claudette author Tracey Baptiste and illustrator Tonya Engel.

Please complete the form below by Monday, February 28, 2022, to document your participation, upload images that you have permission to share, and request a certificate of participation. We also encourage you to use #AARI22 for approved posts on social media and we may share your post! Please email aari@ncte.org with questions.

  • We welcome you to submit artifacts from your students' participation in this event. You may upload as many as three students' work. Please be sure you have permission to share this with NCTE. NCTE will curate a collection from the submissions.
