Arkansas’ Common Core task-force will finalize its recommendation to the governor on Thursday, June 30th. According to the chair of the task-force, recommendations will include retaining “some elements” of Common Core but that Arkansas will also “makeimprovements where needed”. The recommendation also includes renaming the standards to “better reflect the state’s needs.”
